Matteo Della Bordella, born in Varese in 1984, started to climb at the age of 12 years and since then, his passion for rock climbing has never stopped.

He is one of those rare, versatile climbers who expresses his talents in all facets of the activity: sport climbing, trad, mountaineering and expeditions.

Among his most striking achievements :

The first ascent of the west face of Torre Egger (2685m) in Patagonia
The first ascent of the North Tower of Uli Biaho (6109m) in Pakistan
The expedition "By fair means" with the FA of the aptly named Shark Tooth (1555m) in Greenland.

Matteo is a member of the prestigious Group "Ragni di Lecco" and "ACCI". In 2015 he received the price "Grignetta d'oro 2015" which rewards the best Italian climber for the last two years. When he is not on a big wall around the world, you can find him at the cliff climbing or belaying with Y&Y belay glasses.
